COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in various positions across a variety of industry sectors who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base in international business management. They may demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that international business activities are conducted effectively in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams in conducting international business activities.

Course details

After successfully completing the BSB50815 Diploma of International Business, students may apply for the:

  • BSB60207 Advance Diploma of Business or other Advanced Diploma qualifications
Note: While ACFE may not offer all the qualifications indicated within the pathway, we identify relevant progression that may be attained.
This qualification is delivered to the local and international students over a total of 800 hours. Participants will have 52 weeks to complete the course requirement. This will include end of the year holidays and term breaks. Face to Face delivery with student participation in the demonstration of job role tasks.

Employment opportunities resulting from the completion of this course may include following job roles Import/Export Manager, International Freight Forwarder, Trade Manager.
  • On successful completion of year 11 or equivalent.
  • For international students, ACFE also accepts proof of a level of English proficiency of IELTS level 5.5 or equivalent. If international students cannot provide documented proof of their English language proficiency, they will be required to sit for a Language, Literacy and Numeracy test (LLN) before a place can be offered.
  • Documentation according to DIBP requirements.
  • International Students: $9,500 (includes materials & Administration Fee)
  • Fees are subject to changes

  • Practical demonstration/ Observation
  • Written Test/ Oral Questioning
  • Presentations
  • Projects/ Reports/ Portfolios

This qualification requires the successful completion of 8 units of competency: 8 Electives
